Pedestrian killed on Highway 3132 named

A local man killed when he was struck by a car while he tried to cross state Highway 3132, the Inner Loop, on foot late Friday, April 10, 2020, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.
Jeffrey Allen Jones Jr., 27, of Shreveport, was found around 7 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2020, near mile marker 18.4 on westbound 3132 near West 70th Street. Shreveport police, who continue to investigate the incident, believe he was struck some time between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.
An autopsy has been ordered through Ochsner LSU Health hospital
