It was an early morning do after a late night of partying, but mimosas and coffee were flowing and royals in full costume like Atlas Captain John Pumilio, Centaur Queen Tracey James, and Atlas King David Sims partied with Woman's Department Club members for their merry Mardi Gras Brunch. The gala caper offered photo ops and chats with the Mardi celebs, lush centerpieces to dine by, a generous raffle and one of caterer Cindy Johnson's memorable meals.
Krewe Oceanus kicked off with Grand Bal I "Magical Night of an Amazing All-Star Cast" at Cordaro's Event Center. Krewe veterans packed the venue and welcomed the new group with their attendance.

Per tradition, Krewe Justinian King XXVIII Larry Pettiette and Queen XXVIII Erin Leigh Waddell Garrett hosted the glittery by-invitation-only, black-tie Krewe Justinian Royalty Dinner. It was Jan. 6 at the posh Shreveport Club.
