Glenwood Tea Room to Host “Teas the Season: An Event to Benefit Kera Hamilton” on Friday, Dec. 20, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The Glenwood Tea Room, located at 3310 Line Avenue in Shreveport, will host “Teas the Season: An Event to Benefit Kera Hamilton,” 11 a.m.-1 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 20. This free event will include photos with Santa, balloon animals, and a special holiday menu available for purchase in the restaurant. 

During the event, the Glenwood Tea Room will collect donations to aid co-owner Kera Hamilton in her ongoing fight against metastatic breast cancer. Hamilton, who owns and operates the Glenwood Tea Room with her husband, Jarred, is a young mother of three who was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in June 2019. All donations collected during this event will help cover the costs associated with Kera’s ongoing care at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
