Flood warning issued for Bayou Dorcheat

It is expected to completely flood the boat ramp with flooding very similar to that of last year, the springtime of 2019. 

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a flood warning for the Bayou Dorcheat at Dixie Inn, Louisiana. 

At 9:00 AM Monday, the stage was 8.0 feet. * Minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 14 feet.

The flood warning continues for the Bayou Dorcheat At Dixie Inn, Louisiana. At 10:00 AM Wednesday, the stage was 12.7 feet, with flood stage at 14 feet.

Water is forecasted to rise above flood stage by early Thursday morning and continue to rise to near 19.0 feet by early next Tuesday morning. It is expected to completely flood the boat ramp with flooding very similar to that of last year, the springtime of 2019.
