Haughton Christmas Parade 2019

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington joined hundreds of other parade participants in the 3rd Annual Christmas Parade in Haughton Saturday morning.

Sheriff Whittington rode on the Bossier Sheriff's Office float driven by Maj. Donnie Keith, also ridden by Capt. Doug Lauter, Dep. Judy Williams and young D.A.R.E. students, as they tossed candy and goodies the crowds lining the streets.

BSO Motorcycle deputies Sgt. Tony Broadway, Deputy Keith Plunkett, and Officer Daniel Munds of Haughton Police led the parade route, while SRO Deputy Daniel Golden served as the Grand Marshal for the parade.

Bossier Sheriff's Young Marines, led by Dep. Lex Webb, and the D.A.R.E. car also participated in the parade. BSO Reserve Deputies and Haughton Police worked traffic control at intersections and along the parade route.

Santa Claus, the Grinch, school clubs and organizations, dance groups, first responders, community organizations, businesses, horses, and more participated in the parade.

Merry Christmas!
