The DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office (DPSO) has been made aware of a well-known scam recirculating in our area and wants to remind citizens to be cautious if you should receive a call, email or text from individuals claiming that they have a warrant for your (or your loved one's) arrest.

Three juveniles have been arrested by the Bossier Sheriff’s Office for the murder of a teen in Haughton Tuesday night.

PANOLA COUNTY, Texas -- A Shreveport man was arrested earlier this month after authorities say he and two other men stole two Chevrolet Corvettes at gunpoint.

The Shreveport Police Domestic Violence Unit is seeking public assistance in locating 26-year-old Jonquarius Jones. Jones is wanted for one count of tracking device prohibited, following allegations of placing a tracking device on a vehicle belonging to a victim.

Man arrested for soliciting sex from minor

A man is behind bars after he was found to be intoxicated following a traffic stop.

Caddo Sheriff’s detectives arrested a Shreveport man for distribution and possession of child pornography, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

In response to an assault and battery call on Oct. 29 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Shreveport police officers were called to a residence in the 400 block of Apache Trail. The incident involved a family gathering where a 60-year-old man, Franklin Dean, allegedly armed himself with a firearm and discharged it at a family member.
