On Thursday, Feb. 29, the Bossier Sheriff’s Office JCAT/Narcotics Team conducted a compliance check operation targeting stores in Bossier Parish to make sure they are not selling alcohol to persons under the age of 21. Altogether, 13 stores were checked in the operation.

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a domestic shooting.

Deangelo Whitaker, one of three men charged in the shooting death of Emmanuel King in May 2021, was found guilty on Thurday, Feb. 29, of second-degree murder in Caddo District Court.
