In the early hours of May 20, Shreveport Police successfully apprehended 26-year-old Sirleonard Abrams following a dramatic pursuit resulting in multiple charges.

On May 16 at approximately 10:20 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a report of a domestic incident in the 1000 block of Stratmore Drive. While in route, officers were informed that a female suspect was chasing a male outside a residence, armed with a knife.

Officers of the Greenwood Police Department will be working overtime hours supporting the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission’s Click it or Ticket initiative from May 20 through June 2. The Louisiana Highway Safety Commission will pay officers overtime to enforce occupant protection violations such as no seatbelt use, improper seatbelt use, no child restraint and improper child restraint.
