Check Fraud Suspect Arrested

On February 17, 2026, at approximately 1:45 p.m., Shreveport Police detectives began investigating a reported fraud at Aneca Federal Credit Union, located at 4361 Youree Drive. According to bank officials, a member identified as Laquitta Jones conducted a drive-thru transaction in which she deposited and withdrew funds using a check made payable to her but drawn on a closed account under a different name.
