Bossier City police responded to reports of theft from two apartment complexes in Bossier City last week. Managers at the Misty Hollow Apartments and the Parkland Villa Apartments reported the theft of rent checks and money orders from lock boxes.

RED RIVER PARISH, La. -- Last Friday, May 28, just before 10 p.m., Louisiana State Police Troop G began investigating a singlevehicle motorcycle crash on WPA Road, just north of LA Hwy 786. This crash claimed the life of 47-year-old Kenneth Tilley of Coushatta.

A year after a deadly shooting, a local family is asking for the public’s help in finding the shooter.

A man shot and killed early Memorial Day, May 31, in west Shreveport has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office.

Police seek IDs -- Investigators with the Caddo Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force are asking the public’s help to identify subjects who allegedly convinced cashiers at a local business to load funds on gift cards. The individuals then left the business without paying for those cards. They fled the scene in a small, dark-colored SUV. The loss totaled just over $2,000. Detectives are asking anyone with identifying information to contact them at 318-673-7300. A tip to Crime Stoppers has led to the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection to a couple of recent robberies.
