Shreveport police are investigating the discovery of human remains inside of a vacant Mooretown residence scheduled for demolition on Monday afternoon.

BATON ROUGE, La. – A Shreveport woman was arrested on March 23 by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry’s (LDAF) Livestock Brand Commission Inspectors regarding an investigation involving livestock theft in Red River Parish.

Our first public safety cameras have gone up in downtown Shreveport. We chose that area to serve as the pilot program for us because the poles are owned by the city. My own IT team could climb a ladder and hang them easily with no external process slowing things down. Also, we will be able to use ARP funds to continue building out and deploying coverage throughout the city.
