On April 12 at 9:30 p.m., Shreveport police officers responded to a call of a white male pointing a firearm at a victim from inside of a vehicle in the 9700 block of Baird Road.


Sheriff Julian Whittington is pleased to announce that crime in Bossier Parish decreased by 11% for 2022, with total cases decreasing from 1,088 to 970.

On April 11, a warrant was issued for the arrest of 26-year-old Claude Capers, who has been accused of sexually abusing a 5-year-old victim. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Capers for one count of first-degree rape.
