On June 5th, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., Shreveport Fire Department responded to a fire in the 2300 block of Levy Street. As Shreveport Fire Department members arrived, they were confronted by a man armed with a knife.

The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public to assist in the investigation of an armed robbery of a cellular phone store in the 1800 block of North Market Street, on June 5th, 2023, around 11:00 a.m. Detectives with the Shreveport Police Tactical Robbery Unit responded to the scene and began their investigation.

A Caddo Parish motorcyclist killed in a west Shreveport collision with a motor vehicle late Monday, June 5, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner's Office.

On June 4 around 6:30 p.m. Shreveport police patrol officers conducted a traffic stop Alto Vista Street and Clarke Street. Officers contacted Justin Sloan, 33, inside the vehicle and found he was in possession of a firearm.
