Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington is warning citizens about several phone scams that are circulating the area. Several citizens in our area have fallen victim to these scams which are being investigated by Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives.

Caddo Parish Sheriff’s detectives arrested a Shreveport man for possessing and distributing child pornography, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Bossier Sheriff’s Office (BSO) detectives quickly solved a recent business burglary through diligence, persistence and the use of law enforcement technology.

On July 17 around 10:30 p.m. Shreveport police patrol officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the 5200 block of Monkhouse Drive.

A Shreveport man was found guilty in Caddo District Court Friday, July 14, of armed robbery and a shooting at a popular local restaurant.

On June 23 around 1 a.m. Shreveport police officers were called to the 1100 block of West 70th Street in reference to a shooting.

Hours after pleading guilty last month to impersonating a police officer, Caddo Parish Commissioner Steven Jackson distributed an email deflecting his responsibility for the crime and pointing to an inaccuracy in a police report.

On July 18 around 7:34 a.m., Shreveport police patrol officers responded to a domestic trouble in progress in the 7400 block of Glenleaf Road.
