On Thursday, Oct. 5, the United States Attorney’s Office announced that Leroy Shintell McKinney, a 38-year-old resident of Shreveport, was sentenced to federal prison.

On Sept. 25 at 3:29 p.m., Shreveport police patrol officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 1900 block of David Raines Drive. Responding officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
