The Bossier City Police Department Property Crimes Division requests the assistance of the public. On or about Sept. 29, an unidentified bald-headed, black male subject wearing a black jacket with white pin stripes down the sleeves and blue jeans stole a victim’s vehicle that was parked in the parking garage area of the Margaritaville Casino in Bossier City.

A fire on Benton Road Saturday morning damaged several businesses. Bossier City Fire Department responded at 10:30 a.m. to a report of a commercial fire. The first engine arrived on scene at 10:32 and reported heavy smoke and flames visible.

On Saturday, Oct. 21, just before 3 p.m., troopers assigned to Louisiana State Police Troop G began investigating a single-vehicle serious injury crash on Linton Cutoff Road just east of LA Hwy. 162. This crash claimed the life of 62-year-old Athalee Brown Jr.
