Town of Greenwood Organizes Parade Recognizing Graduates

Friday, May 15, 2020 beginning at 11 AM, the Greenwood Police Department will be recognizing the Class of 2020 from Greenwood. 

The department will lead a vehicle procession of community leaders through Greenwood past residences of graduates that have had their traditional graduation celebrations disrupted this year.

In order to successfully recognize each and every member of the Class of 2020 that lives in Greenwood, they are asking parents to contact Ashley Borner (Administrative Assistant to the Police Chief) at Aborner@greenwoodla.org.  Be sure to include the graduate’s name, address, school name, and your phone number. 

Information is needed by Monday, May 11, 2020 in order to coordinate the route and estimate what time they will be by to recognize your graduate. 

All you have to do is send the email and have your graduate outside their residence as they come by to honor their hard work.
