Armed robbery at casino ends with suspects in hospital

The apparent suspects involved an armed robbery at a local casino, are in local hospital following major accident. 

According to Bossier City Police, on April 7, at approximately 9:30 pm, officers responded to the Margaritaville Casino parking lot in reference to an armed robbery. 

Upon arrival, patrol officers learned that the victim was followed to his vehicle by two males and two females.  The two females got into a white Chevy Tahoe with a black hood on it.  The vehicle had a Louisiana temporary license plate on it. 

The two males continued following the victim to his car.  One of the males produced a handgun and they both robbed the victim of $50 to $75 in cash.  The white Tahoe pulled up and the males got in and fled the scene. 

The Bossier City Police’s Violent Crimes division responded to the scene and began an investigation into the crime. 

During this investigation, it was learned that the suspected vehicle was involved in a major accident in Ruston, LA.  All four individuals in the vehicle were transported to Ochsner LSU Hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

At this time the investigation is ongoing.  The names of the suspects are not being released due to their status as hospital patients.
