This is an opportunity for those with and without performance experience to exercise their creativity. Those attended are encouraged to bring a snack, a bottle of water and a journal as we will take frequent breaks.
On Friday, November 15 the workshop will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. On Saturday, November 16 the group will begin at 10 a.m. until noon, then continue from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
On Sunday, November 17 the group will meet 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The workshop is free and will cater to individuals 18-years of age and older. Exercises will be derived from some of the primary improvisation schools such as Second City and Upright Citizen’s Brigade.
Recommended reading is “The Upright Citizen’s Brigade Comedy Improvisation Manual,” written by Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, and Matt Walsh.
