“Our Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit personnel have noticed an increase in heavy truck traffic that could be exceeding the posted weight restrictions on some of our bridges,” said Parish Engineer Butch Ford. “This is a public safety concern of ours and we’re going to be weighing trucks to be sure they are in compliance.

Another Lake Bistineau property owner, who had purchased a Shreveport nursery, donated a pair of greenhouses, each measuring 30x80 feet. Camp said some dirt work would be necessary to set the pair, but a local construction company is donating heavy equipment and operators to get the job done.

I have a confession to make. And President Trump is not going to like it. I’m a southern country lawyer. Darn proud of it. With incumbents, the obvious factors are job performance while in office. For the mayor, this involves the leadership of the city. With council incumbents, attendance at work sessions and council meetings, votes on key issues and responsiveness to constituent matters are issues for voters.
