On July 11, investigators with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, the Shreveport Police Department and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence of 21-year-old John Foster of Shreveport.

Last Tuesday, Darby appeared before Judge Cox and entered a plead of guilty to misdemeanor theft. He was sentenced to serve six months in the parish jail, suspended and placed on active probation for 24 months with the conditions to pay monthly supervision fee, pay a fine of $500 and cost or serve six months, within six months.

Girls’ teams also showcased their best efforts in the tournament, with West Monroe passing by Mansfield in overtime in a 54- 50 championship game. MVP Abby Lee scored 22 points for the Lady Rebels, while Jasmyn Johnson earned 13 points and Desiree Lyons 13.
