A local man is behind bars after a search warrant uncovered illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia last week. Last Friday, July 6, the Caddo- Shreveport Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Dalzell Street.
Last Friday, July 6, a Shreveport police officer initiated a traffic stop at the corner of Rightway and Drexel streets. The suspect, 32-year-old Aubrey Dewayne Davenport of 2750 Randolph St., was allegedly found to be in possession of schedule I narcotics.
Randolph was arrested on charges of illegal possession of a stolen firearm, weapon use/drug distribution/violent act, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule I drugs and illegal use of CDS in the presence of persons under 17 years of age.
