Constable goes irate over man holding sign on Youree Drive

His employee being sought by police for stealing sign from citizen
And now you have a guy that has apparently lost his mind over an election, who is now out intimidating average citizens wanting to voice their opinion,"

A local constable running for Caddo Parish Sheriff became irate this morning when a man was holding up a small sign that read "LyingEric.com" and called Shreveport Police.

George "Eric" Hatfield called Shreveport Police this morning, according to Shreveport Police Department Spokesperson Christina Curtis, and reported to police that the citizen was trespassing on private property.

The Citizen, identified as Mark Quasi, who was holding up the sign, stated that Hatfield told police that he wanted police to arrest Quasi for harassing him.  However Quasi says several police officers had to explain to Hatfield that Quasi had a constitutional right to stand on the public road right of ways and to voice his free speech.

But Police say that at about the same time that Hatfield arrived on the scene, one of Hatfield's employees, Troy Hill, ran up to Quasi and stole the sign out of his hands and took off running.

Police are searching for the whereabouts of Hill now.

Hatfield was not alone in trying to intimidate Quasi.  In fact, two witnesses on the scene have identified Hatfield's live-in girlfriend and baby momma Amy Senn as being on the scene along with Hill's girlfriend and longtime criminal Courtney Cox.  Cox was reportedly videoing the scene and posted the video to her Facebook Page.

Senn is currently on probation in Caddo Parish for simple battery and for posting a video of a crime that she committed on social media for notoriety or publicity.  Quasi says Senn also showed up yesterday at the intersection of Pierremont and Line Avenue when Quasi was holding his sign up there while standing on the street corner.

Quasi was reportedly holding up the sign for Patrick Young, who is running for the unexpired term of Justice of the Peace in Ward 8 against Hatfield's pic and lady friend Holly Griffin to fill the position.  The winner of that race will complete the remainder of Andrea Remedies' seat as Ward 8's Justice of the Peace term, which will end after 2020.  Young has already announced that he will be running for Hatfield's position as Ward 8 Constable during next year's elections.

Young arrived on the scene and immediately began calling Hatfield by his name, "Lying Eric" as soon as he arrived.

Young said, "The funniest thing about this whole ordeal is the fact that there are 12 digital billboards up all over this town with 'LyingEric.com" on them, but Constable Hatfield is worried about a guy holding up a small sign on the street corner.  It is very disturbing that this guy wants to be sheriff - the head law enforcement officer of the parish - and yet he thinks that what Mark is doing is illegal.  That's pretty scary in my opinion."

"And now you have a guy that has apparently lost his mind over an election, who is now out intimidating average citizens wanting to voice their opinion," Young continued. "This is textbook Eric Hatfield mentality.  If you cross him, he goes to social media attacking you and trying to intimidate you."
