Deputy Chief Hart initiated a traffic stop on S. Pine at Williamson Way issuing a citation for careless operation after driver was seen cutting across the parking lot of Wal-Mart at a high rate of speed and entering the Hwy with excessive acceleration causing black smoke to be released from the rear of the vehicle.
Officer Alexander and Sgt. Davis were dispatched to Williamson Way in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers met with suspect who stated that she came to talk to her husband and found him in the parking lot with another female. The suspect began to call the other female manes and approached her to hit her.

Officer Holland was dispatched to Williams Way in reference to a disturbance. Officer made contact with the victim who had fresh scratches on her neck and nose. The victim stated the suspect jumped on her during a verbal disagreement. Dexter Long Sr., was arrested and issued a summons for simple battery.
