Dr. Haynes came to Vivian to visit the then-new hospital in 1966. He was met by local businessmen and his future director of nurses, Billie Hindsman. It was soon decided that Dr. Haynes and his family would make Vivian their home. Haynes and his wife, Sue, raised their three children in the community.

Montgomery was a teacher and coach at Huntington High School and served there as assistant principal from 1970-82. He was principal at the school from 1982-88 and was elected to the state legislature in 1988. He retired as an educator following his election.

Auxiliary deputies supplement full-time Caddo sheriff’s deputies by volunteering their services to the Sheriff’s Office and community in a non-enforcement capacity. Graduates were required to complete 72 hours of classroom instruction and 40 hours on patrol with a full-time deputy to complete the program.

Jackson previously worked for former Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover, and then for Mayor Ollie Tyler for a few months before being terminated. From there, Jackson went to DRCHC. Reportedly, Glover helped him get this job; Jackson is a selfproclaimed protégé of Glover.
