Their mission will be to find and remove impaired drivers from the road before they can cause injury or death to themselves or others. Additionally, they will be checking vehicles for unrestrained motorists in an effort to reduce the number of traffic related fatalities caused by not wearing a seat belt.
During a disturbance, the officer made contact with a witness who showed a video of the suspect fighting with an individual and then running into a residence and shooting a firearm. Post- Miranda, the suspect admitted to shooting the rifle into the air.
The suspect was entering the bathroom of a pool area. The officer knocked on the door after allegedly smelling the odor of suspected marijuana. The officer located two Cigarillos containing approximately 2.6 grams of suspected marijuana hidden under the trash can in the bathroom.
Officers responded to a juvenile referral call. Upon contact, one of the victim’s family members stated she had seen the suspect acting inappropriately with the victim through text messages. The victim also said that the suspect touched her on her breast area.
