Ezikiel Ruben, 65, of Shreveport, admitted to indecent behavior with a juvenile under age 13 Thursday, Aug. 2. Shreveport Police Department officers arrested Ruben on June 20, 2016, following a report filed by the child victim, then 5 years old, and her mother.

On July 3, Shreveport police patrol officers responded to reports of a domestic battery in the 900 block of Bartlett Drive. They contacted the female victim, who advised that her child’s father, 29- year-old Willie Hinton, of the 2600 block of Wakeville Drive in Bossier City, followed her to her residence, and they argued.

On April 4, Shreveport police patrol officers made several reports of vehicle burglaries in the area around Best Drive. One victim’s home surveillance video captured images of the suspects. Investigators released the video to media partners, but no tips were received.

As responding patrolmen were heading to the call, information was relayed to officers the complainant’s vehicle, a 2009 Chevrolet Impala, was taken without his permission by a man known to him. The caller reported to police the suspect normally carried a gun.
