While area shoppers were getting their Christmas shopping done on Saturday, a Shreveport man was getting his jollies another way. Shreveport police say he was driving through shopping centers butt naked!

A Shreveport martial arts instructor was allowed to plead guilty to a mere misdemeanor simple battery charge after he cracked his wife’s skull and put her into an intensive care facility in 2007, and that has raised more questions than answers.

A murder case in Bossier District Court ended with a hung jury Tuesday evening. Charles Roger Pilkinton, 65, is facing a second-degree murder indictment in the death of 66-year-old Raymond Tobin after Pilkinton shot and killed Tobin in the driveway of Pilkinton’s estranged wife in Bossier City last year.

Bossier City police arrested a 20- year-old man Saturday on several charges including DWI after he committed several hit-and-runs while driving and reportedly almost struck two pedestrians.
